Meanwhile, we’re auctioning off stays in Baja, Thailand, Marseilles, Belgium, the Netherlands, Arizona (the luxurious Miraval Resort), Colorado, Vermont, Sacramento, New York (the ever-popular Omega Institute), Sonoma County, New Orleans and the Bahamas.
We’ve got workshops involving Charles Eisenstein, Johan Boswinkel, Jean Houston, Bruce Lipton, Terry Patten, Roy Martina, Thomas Huebl, Sir Ken Robinson and more.
We’re offering consultations with sustainable investor Amy Domini, Ode Editor James Geary, astrologer Rick Levine, abundance coach Mark Anderson, Holotropic Breathwork’s Tav Sparks, natural burial advocate Cynthia Beal and others.
And we’re excited to have on hand a Savvy Rest organic mattress, sustainable toys, Q-link pendants, Gaiam yoga gear, Putumayo CDs, an Aquasana water filter (new!) and a Shipibo cloth brought from the Amazon by FOX News Medicine Hunter Chris Kilham.
Bidders can get their manuscripts published by Berrett-Koelher, vie for a seat in the ALIA Leadership Institute and the AERO alternative education conference, pitch articles ideas to Ode’s editor, have a logo designed for their business, even train to become biontology practitioners. To round out the offerings, we have events, books autographed by leaders like Paul Hawken and Satish Kumar, massages and more.
All in all, we have 140 items valued at $120,000—and get this: The average bids are just 25% to 40% of the value of each item.
The bids are listed, so it’s easy to spot the hottest, most contested donations, like the authentic Shipibo cloth brought back by Chris Kilham, FOX News Medicine Hunter, after his journey to the Amazon; the Life Ionizer water purifier; the homeschooling curriculum; and the $250 donation to a winning bidder’s chosen charity.
The Ode Community Auction was designed to be a fun way to bring our talented community together and generate new connections between longtime advertisers, aligned companies who belong in our pages, the thought leaders who are already there, writers and editors, readers with vision and an altogether different brand of “consumer” who seeks sustainable good and transformative experiences.
If that’s you, I don’t mean to keep you. The auction ENDS at 7 p.m. Pacific, 10 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, May 20. Until then, I’ll see you at www.32auctions.com/ode!
