Thousands of people have signed an online petition calling for Malala Yousafzai, an outspoken Pakistani teenage activist who was shot in the head by the Taliban, to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Yousafzai, a vocal supporter of education and schools for girls, was shot two weeks ago in Mingora, a town located in Pakistan's Swat Valley. Read the full story
